These terms govern your use of AI Check Text at aichecktext.com. By creating an account or purchasing credits you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
AI Check Text runs the document you upload through Turnitin and delivers the resulting AI writing report and similarity report to your dashboard as PDFs. Checks run in Turnitin's no-repository mode, so your document is not added to any Turnitin database.
AI Check Text is an independent service. Turnitin® is a registered trademark of Turnitin, LLC; we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Turnitin, LLC.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
Credits and payment
- One credit checks one document and returns both reports.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
- Credits are valid for 30 days from purchase, are tied to your account, and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- If a check fails on our side, the credit is returned to your account automatically.
- If a document doesn't meet the requirements below (for example, it's too short, too long, or unreadable), the check fails and the credit is consumed — so please check the limits before uploading.
Document requirements
Documents must be PDF or DOCX, up to 8 MB, containing between 400 and 30,000 words of selectable text. Scanned images and handwriting can't be processed.
Acceptable use
- Only upload documents you own or have the right to submit for checking.
- The service is intended for checking your own work before submission. You are responsible for how you use the results and for complying with your institution's or employer's academic integrity and other policies.
- Don't upload unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service, or access it by automated means.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them only as needed to provide the service — sending them to Turnitin for analysis and keeping your reports available in your dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Accuracy
Your reports are genuine Turnitin output. However, institutions control their own Turnitin configuration, and detection models change over time — so we can't guarantee that the score your institution sees later will be identical to the score in your report. Reports are provided for your information and do not constitute academic or legal advice.
Availability and disclaimers
We aim for roughly 10-minute turnarounds, but processing times aren't guaranteed and the service may occasionally be interrupted. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including academic outcomes.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
