Overview
AI Check Text ("we", "us") operates aichecktext.com, a service that checks documents through Turnitin and delivers the resulting AI writing and similarity reports privately to your dashboard. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the service needs to work, we never sell your data, and your documents are used solely to produce your reports.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile image.
- Documents you upload. The papers you submit for checking, plus the reports and scores Turnitin returns for them.
- Payment records. Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we keep only a record of your purchases and credit balance.
- Usage data. Basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used (via Vercel Analytics) and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
How we use your information
We use your information to run your checks, deliver your reports, manage your credits and purchases, respond to support requests, and keep the service working and secure. We do not sell your personal information or your documents to anyone, and we do not use your documents to train AI models.
Service providers
A small number of providers process data on our behalf, each only for its role in delivering the service:
- Google — sign-in authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing over an encrypted connection.
- Turnitin — document analysis. Checks run in no-repository mode, which means your document is never added to Turnitin's database and won't be matched against your future submissions.
- UploadThing — encrypted storage for your uploaded documents and the report PDFs shown in your dashboard.
- Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics.
- Turso — database hosting for account, credit, and check records.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your documents and reports so they remain available in your dashboard, and purchase records for as long as we're required to for accounting purposes. If you'd like your documents, reports, or entire account deleted, email us at support@wibbleai.com and we'll take care of it.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers listed above, or where required by law. Your documents and reports are never published, listed, or made visible to other users.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service, and report files are reachable only through your signed-in dashboard.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@wibbleai.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we honor those requests too.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
